These Blooms Never Fade!

SUPPLY LIST:  

  • Ankara strips (approx. 3" wide x min. 36" long to 45" long (You'll need 1 strip per flower, choose prints that work together so your result will be a coordinated mini bouquet at the end of class. If you have 2.5" wide  leftover jelly roll strips, they can also be used.
  • Floral Wire --Photo below -- (the green paper-wrapped wires look the most realistic. I use the 18-guage wire, in a pack of 12
  • Optional wire cutter or craft shears - to cut the floral wires in half if desired
  • Green floral tape  --Photo below --  (it looks like crepe paper and feels slightly waxy or tacky)
  • Sharp fabric scissors - you'll be cutting thru several layers of the fabric
  • Needle & thread OR 1/4" elastic, about 9" piece per flower
  • Misc greenery to complete your arrangement --Photo below -- 
  • Flat head pliers - --Photo below -- optional but helpful
  • Optional - fabric stiffener spray (pump bottle) - you might want to wait until after class to decide whether you want to stiffen your flowers)
